30/07/2009 - Document L changes are coming

During 2010 the government will introduce new codes within the building regulations. The one that we are concerned with is document L, remember it's the one that introduced low E glass. This time it will increase the WER (window energy rating) minimums from E to C for replacement windows. It is anticipated that a move to A will happen before 2016. In addition low E glazing will become mandatory for the vertically glazed sections of conservatories.
